I just found out about Halo's 10th Anniversary Remix for the 360. I'm not a Halo fan by any means but this is a title I will definitely pick up at some point. Microsoft knows that Halo has taken a backseat to Call of Duty as the premier FPS but still decided to release it a week after MW3. Of course, it does cooincide with the 10th Anniversary so maybe it was more Activision and Infinity Ward with the timing of the two releases. Who cares? The fans still get what they in both camps so it is a win-win for COD and Halo players. Personally, I like COD better than any other FPS because the mechanics just feel right. When I tried to play Halo on an old X-Box, it just felt awkward after being used to Resistance: Fall of Man and then Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Plus, I also had the disadvantage of being used to the PS3 controller versus the X-Box controller.
Anyway, I look forward to playing the remix version of the original Halo. It is supposed to play exactly like the original since 343 has used the original engine and only added a new video engine for much better graphics. The game looks absolutely beautiful from the two videos and screen shots that I have viewed from the Halo website. I have added a gameplay trailer for those of you who may not have seen it. Enjoy!

This is my new page where I will be discussing gaming. I primarily play on the PS3 but I do have an X-Box 360 and a Wii :D. This will not be a fanboy page but a page to discuss games regardless of the platform you might play it on.
I can't wait until 11/8/11! I was really disappointed with Call of Duty: Black Ops. Except for the Zombie mode, the game was marginal at best. I'm hoping that Infinity Ward, or the shell of what was Infinity Ward, can do a better job than Treyarch. At this point, Treyarch should just do a standalone zombie game that links all the existing maps together. I'm not the only one to have thought of this (I didn't steal it either) as I've seen someone else pose this same scenario to other people on a comment for a youtube video about Moon (the last zombie map).

An interesting new twist to Spec Ops will be the horde mode...hmmm...sounds suspiciously like zombies, just without zombies.

Infinity Ward recently added a new video for Modern Warfare 3. In the video, they describe the new weapon progression system in multi-player. It looks interesting but man it is going to make it difficult six months after Modern Warfare 3 has been out for new players to against seasoned vets who have just finished prestiging by then!
